BookedOS provides AI-assisted growth and customer-care automation for local service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to be practical and readable; it is not legal advice and does not claim to satisfy every legal regime.

Information we collect

We collect information you or the business you contacted provide, including:

  • Contact details such as name, phone number, and email address.
  • The content of your service request and related messages.
  • Appointment and booking details needed to coordinate service (preferred windows, address locality, and status).
  • Basic technical data (such as IP address and device/browser information) when you use our web pages.

Phone numbers and SMS communications

When you opt in through a web form (see our SMS Consent page), your phone number may be used to send customer-care SMS messages about your service request, booking proposal, appointment coordination, and related customer-care updates.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and reply HELP for help. Consent to SMS is not a condition of any purchase.

How we use information

  • To respond to and coordinate your service request.
  • To send booking proposals, appointment reminders, and customer-care updates.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the BookedOS service.
  • To comply with applicable legal and carrier requirements.

SMS opt-out

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. We honor opt-outs at send time, and a confirmation is sent. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS does not delete other information you provided; contact us to request deletion.

Data sharing

We share information with the local service business you contacted so it can serve your request. We use service providers (for example, messaging, hosting, and payment processors) to operate BookedOS; they may process information on our behalf under appropriate terms. We do not sell your personal information. Mobile information collected for SMS is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and carrier obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including tenant isolation, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
